Join us for three days of focused and fun workshops centered on music-making with the Native American Flute.
This weekend is designed for players of any amount of experience who want to raise their playing
and enjoyment of the instrument to a new level.
This edition of Clint and Vera's Native Flute School runs 3 hours each morning as part of the Native Rhythms Festival in Melbourne, FL. We open on Friday morning and continue with workshops on Saturday and Sunday. Your afternoons and evenings are free to enjoy the Native Rhythms Festival.
Sessions focus on playing technique, improvisation styles, jamming with other musicians (flute as well as guitar, piano, etc), adding your voice to your music, incorporating rhythm, and song forms.
You will come away with the ability to play with confidence and an understanding of rhythms, tones and improvisation.
The native flute is simple to play ... you don't even have to read music!
